We also celebrated the Houghton Keweenaw CAC earning its National Children’s Alliance accreditation, while becoming the first NCA-accredited advocacy center in the Upper Peninsula.
The center is beautiful, calming, and peaceful. The center provides space for child abuse victims, advocates, investigators, and providers with a focus on minimizing trauma to the child during the process in a comfortable, child-friendly place.
